Lu-gats
2001 - Web Version
This is the newest format which will ultimately become the
standard format for Lu-gats. It is still in a prototyping
stage so feel free to comment on it.
Future enhancements include:
- Returning a user specified # of records per
page
- A link off of the restaurant for detailed
review descriptions
- Link to the restaurant website
- Photos of the restaurant & food
- User reviews and ratings

Lu-gats
2000.Q3 - Excel 2000 (515K)
If your browser supports
Microsoft Excel, Lu-gats will open within your browser.
If not, the spreadsheet can be downloaded to your local
hard drive and opened in Excel.
NOTE: Lu-gats contains sorting macros that are essential
to sorting and filtering the restaurants on the criteria
that you provide. This version is free from any viruses.

Compressed (191K)
This option allows you to download a compressed
self-extracting version of the Lu-gats spreadsheet. This
option is recommended for those with a slower modem
connection. After you download the executable, double
click on the file and it will uncompress to a directory
that you specify on your local hard drive. You can then
launch the local copy of Lu-gats.

Lu-gats 2000.Q3 - Palm

Lu-gats is also available for the Palm platform. This is
a compressed file which contains everything you need to
view Lu-gats on your Palm. It utilizes MobileDBLite as
the database engine and has 2 different databases that
you can install. The first is the full version of Lu-gats
(193K) for those without memory constraints. The second
is Lu-gats Lite (43K), a highlights version containing
the top 20% of all entries in Lu-gats. Both versions are
contained within the download file along with
MobileDBLite which will allow you to read the entries if
you do not already have it installed. |
